The
Audiomagus PowerCenter™ SLA Battery Power Supply is
the first in
our family of integrated 12VDC power products. We have done everything we can to ensure the purest, quietest 12VDC power for
your audio components.
Housed in elegant, but unobtrusive, low-profile black anodized
aluminum the
PowerCenter will easily find a home on your audio shelves. Designed for easy and safe battery access, the UL and CE certified 3-stage charger and the AC entry are fully enclosed 24 gauge anti-corrosion treated and painted sheet metal.

PowerCenter Battery Unit is hand-wired and uses high-quality

- The UL
& CE certified 3-stage charger will easily charge batteries up
to 8AH in
less than 8 hours. Red and green LEDs
indicate state of charge. (Red for charging and green for charged or
idle.)
- With
an eye to ease of use and an ear to ensuring the very best
sound, switches are front-panel-mounted and use solid silver-plated
copper contacts
- The PowerCenter is designed for maximum in DC separation from noisy AC mains power. One switch controls the AC
connection to the charger, while the other switch toggles between
charger and amp. You can never connect the
amplifier to the battery when the charger is connected! For an
extra measure of isolation you can use the second switch to disconnect
from AC power.
- Each
PowerCenter includes an 8AH SLA battery. If
fits the case nicely and provides over 20 hours of musical pleasure.

Battery
The
PowerCenter BPS uses a Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) battery. It
is valve-regulated type (sometimes called
‘sealed’ or maintenance-free) and uses an absorptive
fiberglass mat to hold
the acid electrolyte. The advantage of this design is that the battery
needs no water additions, can be operated in any position, and can be
used in close proximity to people and sensitive equipment.
