The sound is what we have come to expect from a well-made Tripath TA-2024 amp (and a bit more)! It is musical, clear and detailed with tube-like sound (no fatiguing solid-state edge) and a dead-quiet background.  A viable alternative to the Trends TA-10 if you want to save another $50!

Nice Amp June 11, 2010

Cons:
1) Your website looks iffy
2) Your other website didn't work (broken Paypal link)
3) Came without cord to plug in the wall (I had a spare) but expected it to come with a cord.  I'm pretty sure I selected "default USA/Canada".

Pros:
1)  It came.  I was wondering... (see above)
2)  Fast Shipping.  Good trackability. Was able to meet the postman.
3) The Amp.  I am not an audiophile but this Amp sounds great to me.  Very clean sound (what does that mean?). I use it to power some old (1980) Advent bookshelves with a signal from an Apple Airport express.  I'm really happy with my purchase.

Summary:
Would be 5 stars if it came with a cord.  Small chance I got the order wrong.

Luv IT! Budget version of the TA-10. August 23, 2009

I replaced my broken  Trends TA-10 with this little PopPulse for my iTunes setup. With the price difference, I also afforded myself a SuperDAC and I have to say, it's amazing! I highly recommend it. It even sounded great on my main system.
