We replace the Bennic input capacitors with Auricaps. This mod has great impact, giving the T20U a more expansive, fuller and overall more musical sound.

Produced by Audience in Escondido, California, Auricap is a top-quality non-inductive metalized polypropylene film capacitor. Tension-controlled precision winding is used to provide the best possible volume density. Epoxy end-filled for stability.One of the finest capacitors available, Auricaps are sonically clear and transparent.

We replace the tank capacitors with larger Panasonic FM Series caps to provide tighter more accurate bass, improved dynamics and better channel separation.

Then the stock chassis-mount banana jacks (What do you do if you have spades on your cables?) are replaced with mo

re versatile, durable and robust Vampire BP-HEX 5-way speaker binding posts.The BP-HEX is a gold plated binding post made from one piece of hard brass, including the top nut. It is then copper plated, silver plated, and finally gold plated.

We install Vampire CM-HEX RCA connects. The CMHEX is a chassis mount female RCA made of brass plated with Copper, then Silver and then Gold with a Teflon dielectric.

The plastic board-mount DC power jack (set back from the rear panel it often causes poor power plug connections) is

replaced by a high-quality Switchcraft 2.1mm Panel Mount Jack. Pin, spring and terminals re are plated copper alloy. Mounting, bushing and hex nut are machined and plated brass.

We add damping to the sheet metal case and securing the inductors against vibration. Tap an undamped case and it will "ring" as the case and the inductors vibrate. We fix that by adding several pieces of mineral filled asphalt polymer to the case, to transform vibrational energy into thermal energy. We also stabilize and secure the inductors.
