Swiss manufacturer, Multi-Contact AG, produces a heady array of ultra high-quality connectors for the electronics industry. One that has caught the eyes (and ears) of audiophiles is the LS4.

These high-quality low-mass banana plugs are made of a sleeve-shaped copper alloy that is rolled, hardened and gold-plated.

Why so simple a design? As Jeff Day points out in his 6mooons.com article,  White Lightning Moonshine Interconnect, the LS4's low mass will minimally degrade the signal.

Day goes on to mention that Keith Aschenbrenner, of German high-end  company Auditorium 23, believes the LS4's are the, "best-sounding banana connectors available today and the only thing he uses to terminate his superb custom  'Gremakesen' speaker cables."  Not bad when LS4s cost only $16  per set of 8
