Quality components are used throughout... Elna polar and BP caps, dual OPA LM-4562 op amps in preamp stage. The Tripath TA 2022 chip gives the amp its heart, soul � and muscle.

How does the Pop Pulse T-Amp sound? Same (Tripath), but pleasantly different (TA2022). It is a bit more laid-back. Everything is there. Soundstage is big. Placement of instruments and voices are well defined. Sound is robust and authoritative with plenty of power for transients. You'll find no thin or dry female vocals here! Voices are smooth, warm and natural. And the lower end has a richer and more tonally defined sound.

Bottom line? This is a T-amp with muscle and laid-back warmth. If you have less than efficient speakers � or just want more power � and have been looking for T-amp sound (and a heckuva good deal) you won't be disappointed!

i am owner of the pulse t40 since 2 weeks.  Very good build, for that
price only 225 $.
The sound stage ist big, a little tube like.
i like this amp.

Love this amp! April 25, 2008

I've had this little amp in my system for several days now and I love it! Great extension and imaging. I have it paired with a Paridesea DAC and some Klipsch speakers and the sound is rich, detailed and harmonious. Very well constructed and simple yet nice to look at. The remote is small and works great to control the volume. For the price this is a giant killer!
