This tiny, inexpensive system is bound to be underestimated. I've come away startled at how clean its output is and how close to a medium-sized bookshelf or desktop system its sound is (save for the more realistic bass of larger speakers) and at a (small) fraction of the cost. I am also totally convinced that it puts to shame most of the much higher-priced iPod "docking" systems you see on sale. That's saying something, when you consider how much many of those mass-market, big-name, faux-audiophile products cost. The final test was hearing the Swans S3W system play in a much larger room than your average office or bedroom. I set it up on a weekend trip to the mountains in a large cabin with a 30ft+ vaulted ceiling and a huge volume of air. Connected to an iPod, the Swans S3W filled the whole cabin with completely believable "high-end" sound. For 3" drivers to pull that off without distorting or sounding harsh is a revelation and a testament to the genuine "rightness" of T-amps.
